Thakurgaon is bordered by Dinajpur district to the south, Panchagarh district to the east and India on its west and north sides.

Shalbari Mosque
It is known that the mosque was built in 1215. Due to the renovation, the original design of the mosque was damaged. There is an ruined imambara near Shalbari mosque.

Jamalpur Mosque
In 1862, the foundation of the zamidar bari was established. Construction of the mosque began in 1867 before the construction of the house was completed. As a result, the construction of the zamidar house remained unfinished after the costly construction of the mosque was completed.

Horinmari Shiv Temple
The temple can be approximately 400 years old.

Gorokkhonath Temple
There are 5 temples in the temple complex. 3 Shiv temples and 1 Kalimandir and 1 main temple, which is known as Nath Mandir. There is a miraculous well surrounded by large black stone pieces. The lower part of the well is paved with stone. But there is a hole in which the water comes from the bottom of the well. Standing around the well, many people bath together, but the water of the well is not reduced.

Mohalbari Mosque
It was founded in 1505 during the period of Sultan Hussein Shah. The founder of the mosque was Mia Malik Ibn Jujamdar. Prior to 1971, the original mosque was destroyed and a new mosque was built there. The foundation and floor of the newly built mosque has been used of previous mosque stone, wall bricks and few other things.
How to go: From Mirdangi, Ranishongkoil sub district, go to 3 Km away Moheshpur village.
Ranishongkoil Jamidar Bari
TonkNath's father's name was Buddhinath Chowdhury. Rajbari started by Buddhinath Chowdhury but King Tonknath finished. The Rajbari was built in the late nineteenth century. At present, many parts of the Rajbari have been damaged.
How to go: It is located in on the bank of Kulik river, Ranishongkoil sub district.
Haripur Jamidar Bari
During the Muslim rule, in approximately 1400, a businessman named Ghanoshyam Kundu came to Haripur to do Andy cloth business. Ghanoshyam bought this place. Raghvendra Roy, one of the descendants of Ghanshyam, started the work of Haripur Rajbari during the British period in the middle of the nineteenth century. But the work of the palace was not completed in his time. Jagannath Narayan Roy, the son of Raghvendra Roy, completed the construction of Rajbari in the late nineteenth century. When the descendants of Ghanoshyam were partitioned in 1900, Haripur Rajbari was divided into two parts. Rajbari, built by Raghvendra Jogendra Narayan Roy, is known as Boro Tarafa Rajbari. Nogendra Bihari Roy Chowdhury and Girija Bollov Roy Chawdhury: In 1903, another Rajbari was built, named Chhota Taraf.
