Thailand is a country of Southeast Asia. Former name was Siam. Thailand is bordered to the north by Myanmar and Laos, to the east by Laos and Cambodia, to the south by Malaysia, and to the west by Myanmar.

Thailand is divided into 6 regions. The regions are: Central Thailand, Eastern Thailand, Northern Thailand, Northeast, Southern Thailand and Western Thailand.

Regions are divided into 77 Provinces (Changwats). 77 Provinces divided into 878 Districts (Amphoes).
