There is also a bus at 6.30 AM. Fare around 100 Baht. You can book car or Micro shared shared or private service from below.Renting Scooter is the cheapest way. It takes about 200 Baht per day.

Wat Khao Rang Samakkhitham
Buddhist TempleHow to go: It is situated at Thep Krasatti of Thalang district in Phuket province. From old town, go to Vachira Phuket Hospital through Yaowarat Road towards North about 1.3 km. Then turn left and walk only 450 meters. You will see on your right.
Other Attractions: Khao Rang View Point and Tung Ka Cafe on the top of Khao Rang Hill.
Jui Tui Shrine
Chinese TempleThere is a firecracker house and another interesting thing must try is "Fortune Sticks". You have to shake a bamboo cup holding the fortune sticks. Stop when one stick has dropped to the floor. Pick up the stick and match the number to the nearby paper and read your fortune. The papers are written in Thai and Chinese only. So you can ask anyone.
Visiting Time: 8 AM to 8:30 PM.
How to go: From old town Yaowarat Road come to south to the circle. Then turn right to Ranong Road. Walk about 450 meters. You will find the Shrine on your left.
Phuket Trickeye Museum

How to go: From old town Yaowarat Road, go to east through Phang Nga Road about 550 meters towards Bus Terminal-1.

Wat Chalong
Buddhist TempleHow to go: About 9 km from Phuket old town to Chalong.
Chalong Bay Rum Distillery

Islands hopping in Phuket Province
Koh Racha (Raya)
IslandsAbout 20 km south of Phuket. It comprise two islands, Koh Racha Yai and Koh Racha Noi. Also known as Koh Raya Yai and Koh Raya Noi.
Accommodations: There are a few bungalow and resort operations on Racha Yai.
Activities: The main activities here are scuba diving and snorkelling.
How to Reach: Boats to Koh Racha Yai leave from Chalong Pier or Ra Wai Beach and take about 2 hours. You can hire a speedboat for around 8,000 Baht or 1,200 Baht per person one way.

Koh Bon
IslandBon Island is a small island.
How to go: It is situated about 2 km from Ra Wai beach. Hire a long-tail boat from Ra wai jetty or beach, costing about 1,000 to 1,200 baht both way and take more than 15 minutes to reach.
Coral Island
IslandOriginally known as Koh Hae. There are two main beaches here at Coral Island, Long Beach and Banana Beach.
Activities: Banana boats, canoes, and snorkeling. Long Beach features parasailing (about 600 baht). In Coral Island Resort there are batik classes (250 baht an hour) and scuba diving classes (2000 baht for a one-day course). Eastern end of Long Beach massages in open-air pavilion.
How to go: You can get to Coral island by boat from Ao Chalong pier.
Koh Lone
IslandIt is the second largest island in Phuket province after Phuket Island itself. Many fishermen families living here. There are many cottages, bangalows at this island.
How to go: By long-tail boat from Chalong pier. It takes about 15 minutes.
Koh Mai Thon
IslandMai Thon is a private island and perfect honeymoon island. No one is permitted to stay over night and not more than 200 tourists allow per day
How to go: You can book from operator or book resort in this island.
Coconut Island
IslandLocally known as Koh Maphrao.
How to go: It is located 500 meters from Laem Hin Pier in Phuket.
Naka Island
IslandIt’s called the Pearl Island. Two islands - Naka Yai and Naka Noi. There is a pearl farm.
How to go: Naka island is by taking a long-tail boat from Ao Por Pier. It takes 15 minutes to reach.

There are many Islands in Phang nga province which are mostly easy to visit from Phuket.Surin Islands
IslandsSurin Islands, north of Similan Islands, is consists of 5 islands.

How to go: Ferryboats regularly make the 4-hour trip from November-April from the port in Phang nga.
Similan Islands
IslandsThe Similan Islands are a group of eleven islands.

Park Entry Fee: 200 Baht.
How to go: Nearest port for Similan Islands is Thap Lamu Pier, in the Thai Muang district of Phang Nga province. It takes about 3 hours.
Koh Yao Yai
IslandsKoh Yao Noi and Koh Yao Yai are a pair of large islands in the middle of Phang Nga Bay.
How to go: Long-tail boat ferries make daily trips to Koh Yao from Bang Rong Pier on the east coast of Phuket. Fare is 50 Baht for one way. It takes one hour. Daily departures from Phuket at 9.30 AM, 12 PM and 5 PM. The boat stop at Koh Yao Yai, then reach 8 minutes away at Koh Yao Noi.
James Bond Island
IslandOriginal name of the island is Koh Khao Phing Kan in Phang Nga Province. About 40 meters from that beach, situated a 20-meter tall islet called Koh Tapu. In 1974, James Bond movie "The Man with the Golden Gun", was shoot here. Since then, the place is popularly known as James Bond Island.
How to go: From Phuket, there are many tour operators offer this island visit with kayaking.
If you want to go yourself, then you have to go to Klong Khien Pier and rent a long-tail boat for a half-day tour and return. Cost approximately 1,000 Baht.
