Recreational PlaceHow to go: There are frequent buses from various points in Kuala Lumpur. Genting Express Bus Service stations are located at One Utama Shopping Mall (Petaling Jaya), Terminal Putra LRT Gombak, Pudu Sentral, and KL Sentral, which prices ranging between RM 5 and RM 13 for one-way ticket. All buses take around one hour.
One-way fares (inclusive of a cable car ride) priced at RM 12.30 per adult and RM11.30 per child.

Merdeka Square
Historical fieldThis land originally named the Parade Ground. in 1892, the Acting British Resident started to play cricket over the ground. Since then the ground called Padang (field). On the midnight of 30 August 1957, the Malayan flag was raised for the first time at the Padang. In the morning of 31 August 1957, the ceremony for Malayan independence was then held at the Merdeka Stadium. The Padang was renamed 'Dataran Merdeka' or Merdeka Square in October 1989.

Sultan Abdul Samad Building
LandmarkThe construction was started in September 1894 and was completed in 1897. It is used for the offices of the British colonial administration and was known simply as Government Offices. In 1974 it was renamed after Sultan Abdul Samad.
How to go: It is situated front Merdeka Square.

Sri Mahamariamman Temple
Hindu TempleThis temple is the oldest Hindu temple in Kuala Lumpur. It was founded in 1873.
How to go: About 280 meters from Central Market. Walk straight to south. cross the main and walk straight to Jalan Hang Kasturi road. Then turn left to Lorong Bandar 21 road. Then turn right and first building on your right.
Kuala Lumput Station
Railway StationHow to go: 600 meters from Sri Mahamariamman Temple. Walk towards South to main road. then turn right and walk only 200 meters.
Thean Hou Temple
Buddhist templeOne of the oldest and largest temples in Southeast Asia.
How to go: 2.6 km from Kuala Lumput Station.
National Mosque of Malaysia
MosqueHow to go: About 150 meters from Railway Station toward west.
Butterfly Park
ParkVisiting Time: 9.30 AM 5.30 PM every day.

How to go: About 600 meters from the national mosque. Walk through Jalan Cenderasari road. On the other hand take the RapidKL bus numbers B101 or B112. Alight at the Dayabumi Complex and walk towards Masjid Negara. From there it is a short walk to the park.
Taman Burung
Bird ParkThere are around 3,000 birds and 200 different species found in the park which is divided into 4 zones: Zone 1 & 2 are free-flight zones, Zone 3 is the Hornbill Park (also free flight concept) and Zone 4 contains birds separated in cages, enclosures and mini-aviaries.
