By Air: You can come from anywhere in India to Jaipur International Airport (IATA code - JAI).

From Agra by train fare Rs.175 for sleeper. It takes 4.15 hours. By bus fare starts from Rs.200.

Amer Fort

Fort

Also known as Amber Palace or Amber Fort. It was built in 1592 by Raja Man Singh.
Visiting Time: 8 AM to 5.30 PM and 6.30 PM to 9.15 PM every day.
Entry Fee: Rs.100 for Indian and Rs.500 for foreigner.
How to go: It is about 11 km from Jaipur. By bus come to Amer fort bus stand.
Inside the premises: Suraj Pol (Sun Gate), Jaleb Chowk, Chand Pol (Moon Gate), Diwan-E-Aam (Audience Hall), Kacharis (Tosha Khana), Ganesh Pol, Diwan-E-Khas, Sheesh Mahal, Palace of Raja Man Singh, Zenana (Ladies Apartments) etc.

Jaigarh Fort

Fort

The fort was built by Jai Singh II in 1726
Visiting Time: 9 AM to 5 PM.
Entry Fee: Rs.70 for Indian and Rs.150 for foreigner.
How to go: It is behind the Amer fort on the top of a hill which is called Cheel ka Teela (Hill of Eagles).


Jalmahal & Man Sagar Lake

Palace

A Palace in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. It was constructed by Maharaja Madho Singh in 1750. Visitors are not allowed to enter inside the palace. They can watch it from road side or by boating in the lake.
How to go: About 3.75 km from Amer fort towards Jaipur at Jal Mahal bus stop.

Nahargarh Fort

It was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh in 1734.
Visiting Time: 10 AM to 6 PM every day.
Entry Fee: Rs.50 for Indian, Rs.5 for Indian student, Rs.200 for foreigner and Rs.25 for foreign student.
How to go: About 6 km from Jaipur on the hill. From the base you have to trek about 1 km uphill or you can hire private taxi.


Jaipur Wax Museum

Visiting Time: 10 AM to 6.30 PM every day.
Entry Fee: Only Wax museum Rs.350 for Indian, Wax museum + Sheesh Mahal COMBO Rs.500 for Indian and Rs.700 for foreigner. Camera and cell phone photos are not allowed in Wax Museum. If you want to take photo, they have their own photographer. Rs.200 for 8 pictures.

How to go: It is besides of Nahargarh Fort.


Day-2:

Science Park

Technological Park

Visiting Time: 9 AM to 1 PM and 4.30 PM to 8 PM
Entry Fee: Rs.20 for Adult, Rs.15 for student.
How to go: It is situated at Subash Nagar. Nearest bus counter is Shastri Nagar Bus Counter.

City Palace

Royal Palace

City Palace was established by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1727 when he moved from Amber to Jaipur.
Visiting Time: 9.30 AM to 5 PM every day.
Entry Fee: Rs.190 for Indian and Rs.500 for foreigner.
How to go: It is situated in the heart of Jaipur city. Nearest Bus counters are – Hawa Mahal Bus stop, Bari Chopad Bus Stop or Choti Chopad Bus Stop.
Inside the Premises: Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple, and the City Palace Museum.

Jantar Mantar

Architecture

Jantar Mantar is a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments. It was built by Sawai Jai Singh II. The monument inside was completed in 1734.

Hawa Mahal

The structure was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh.

Sisodiya Rani Bagh

How to go: It is 6 km away from Jaipur. About 880 meters from Hawa Bhaban to Sanganeri Gate Bus stop or Bapu Bazar Bus stop towards south. From there turn East then 2.5 km to Transport Nagar Bus stand. From there 1.5 km to the Garden. On the way you can visit Golcha Garden Park and Vidyadhar Bagh.


Day-3:

Jaipur Zoo

Visiting Time: 9 AM to 5 PM. Tuesday remains closed.
Entry Fee: Rs.15 for Indian and Rs.150 for foreigner.
How to go: It is near Albart Hall Museum. About 1.5 km from Hawa Mahal.

Albert Hall Museum

Museum

Visiting Time: 9 AM to 5.30 PM and 7 PM to 10 PM. Tuesday remains closed
Entry Fee: Rs.40 for Indian, Rs.20 for Indian Student, 300 for foreigner and Rs.150 for foreign student.
How to go: It is near Jaipur Zoo. About 1.5 km from Hawa Mahal.

Birla Planetarium

Planetarium

Visiting Time: 9.30 AM to 8 PM. Monday remains closed

Show time: Hindi Show – 11 AM, 1 PM, 3 PM, 5 PM, 7 PM. English Show – 6 PM. Science Museum Show Timings –
10 AM to 7 PM.
How to go: It is situated near Statue Circle.

Dolls Museum

Visiting Time: 9 AM to 4 PM. Tuesday remains closed.
Entry Fee: Rs.4o for Indian and Rs.300 for foreigner. Rs.20 for student.
How to go: About 1.5 km from Planetarium Nearest Bus stop is Jin Marg Bus stop.

Rambagh Palace

It is now a hotel. The first building was a garden house built in 1835 for prince Ram Singh II.

Birla Mandir

Hindu Temple

Nice architectural temple.
Visiting Time: 9 AM to 5 PM.
How to go: 930 meters awat from Dolls Museum to south.


Day-4:

Akshardham Temple

Hindu Temple

Also called Swaminarayan Mandir. Beautiful architecture.
Visiting Time: 7.30 AM to 10.15 AM, 11.15 AM to 12 PM, 4 PM to 6 PM,  7 PM to 8.15 PM
How to go: It is situated at Sector 9, Chitrakoot. About 8 km from Birla Temple to West. Nearest Bus stand is Gavind Nagar bus stop.

Patrika Gate

Gate

Beautiful architecture.
How to go: About 5.7 km away from Birla Mandir towards South near Jaipur Airport. It is entrance of Jawahar Circle Garden.
Entrance Fee: Free.

Jain Temple
Hindu Temple

It is an ancient temple.
How to go: It is situated at Jain Mandir Road Opposite of CTS Bus Stand, Sanganer.

Chokhi Dhani

Resort & Recreation

It is a resort village. Anyone can enjoy the traditional Rajesthani culture.
Visiting Time: 5 PM to 11 PM.
Entry Fee: Rs.450 for Adult and Rs.350 for children. Package 1 – Entry with Village Thali Food – Rs.700, Package 2 - Entry with Resort Buffet Food – Rs.1100.
