Qianlonggou Grand Waterfall

How to go: It is located at Liangkou Town in Conghua District. By bus from the 11 or 12 route and get off at the Liangkouxu bus stop at the Machang intersection. Transfer to the Liangkou Huikou of the Liangkou Community to the Xitou Village bus, and get off at the Qiantanggou Great Falls Scenic Spot.

How to go: It is locate at Taoyuan Town in Conghua district. By Guangzhou-Conghua bus to Conghua Bus Station. Then take the Jiekou-Dalingshan bus and you’ll reach the foot of the Tiantang mountain (The highest mountain in Guangzhou). From there the park is 5 km away.

It is the 7th-tallest in the world. 530 meters tall with 111 floor + 5 floor (basement) tower was built in 2016.

How to go: It is located opposite (east side) of Guangzhou International Finance Center Zhujiang at East Road, Zhujiang New Town in Tianhe District.

Haixinsha Island

You can enjoy beauty of Liede Bridge at the east and Canton Tower at the south.

How to go: It is located south of Guangdong Museum on Pearl River.

Canton Tower

Tower

604-meter tower was built in 2010, is the 2nd tallest tower and the 4th-tallest freestanding structure in the world. Canton Tower divided into 5 zones, namely Zone A to E.

Visiting Time: 9.30 AM to 10.30 PM.

Attractions:

Zone A: 32 meters from ground level. 360-degree view from 2nd floor and there are restaurants here.

Zone-B: Between 84-116 meters, contains cinema halls.

Zone-C: Between 147 to 168 meters.

Zone-D: Between 334 to 355 meters. It contains the longest spiral staircase in the world 'Spider Walk'.

Zone-E: It contains observation deck "488 Lookout" at the top at 488 meters. It is highest outdoor observation deck according to the Guinness World Records. "Sky Drop" is 100 feet freefall from height 485 meters as 'Sitting Drop' and 'Standing Drop'. Bubble Tram at 455 meters has 16 crystal revoiving cabin spins around the tower. There is also a Cloud Observation Deck on 107th floor and Star Observation Deck on 108th floor.

How to to: By Metro Line 4 to Higher Education Mega Center South Station. Take exit B. Then walk about 800 meters through Daxuecheng Zhongwu Road to the park. During weekend you will get free shuttle from Mega Center South Station. By bus 380a, 380b, 384 or Pan 201 to to Lingnan Yinxiang Station (park station).

Featured Walls, Hong Kong & Macau Specialty Stores, Traditional Daily Items, Star Art Gallery, Artware, Lookout Tower.

Temples: There are 8 temples in the park. Fok Family's and Xiao Family's temples are popular. The temple was first built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).

Chen Mengji TV series filming site: The site includes Chen Mengji (1820-1888) residence, and an administration area. inside the house decorations are in traditional style.

Yuyin Shanfang

During the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911), it was the private garden of Wu Bin.

Visiting Time: 8 AM to 5.30 PM.

How to go: By metro Line 3 or Line 7 to Hanxi Changlong. Then by bus Pan 30 to Yuyin Garden Terminal "Yuyin Shanfang Zongzhan".

Lianhua Mountain

Also called Lotus Hill. The Lotus Tower here was constructed in Ming Dynasty. Kwan Yin is the tallest outdoor statue in China.

How to go: By Metro Line 3, get off at Shiqiao Metro Station. Exit C and walk about 10 minutes to the Panyu Shiqiao Bus Station. By bus Pan92 to the Lotus Hill. It takes about 50-60 minutes.

Nansha Wetland Park

How to go: From Liuhua Bus Station,by bus-362 to park at Wanqingsha Town in Nansha district.

Sunflower Garden

How to go: It is located at Xinken Town in Nansha District. By bus from Haizhu Bus Station to Baiwan Kuiyuan (Sunflowers Garden). The buses leave at 8:45 AM and 9:45 AM. By metro line 4 and get off at Jiaomen station. Then by bus Nan G1 to the garden.

Attractions: 

January to December: Sunflower, rose, lavender, fairy flowers, spider flower, crabapple, begonia tuberhybridu, petunia.

January to March: Corn poppy, Cherry blossom.

Sacred Heart Cathedral

At this place, there was a residence of the Viceroy of Guangdong. During Second Opium War (1856-1860), the residence was destroyed by the British. The cathedral foundation began on June 28, 1861 and was finished in 1888.

How to go: It is located northwest corner of Haizhu Square at 56 Yide Road.

Temple of the Six Banyan Trees

It was first built in 537 AD. The temple was burned down and rebuilt. Flower Pagoda of the temple was built in 1097 and rebuilt in 1373.

Su Shi (8 January 1037 – 24 August 1101), (a Chinese calligrapher, gastronome, painter, pharmacologist, poet, politician, and writer) visited the temple and wrote a poem "Six Banyans". Since then the temple renamed as "Temple of the Six Banyan Trees".

How to go: It is located west side of Guangzhou Old Railway Station and 450 meters from Sun Yat-sen's Memorial Hall towards southwest at 87 Liurong Rd, Zhong Shan Liu Lu in Yuexiu District.

Guangxiao Temple

It was first built by Western Han Dynasty (207 BC - 24 AD) as a private house. Then it was used as a lecture hall during the Southern Song Dynasty (1127 - 1279).
