Non-AC all buses fare is same 465 Taka. Non-AC buses starts each half an hour from Dhaka. "Unique" starts from TT Para, Mugda, Komlapur. "Ena" starts from Mahakhali. Our bus started at 12 AM and reached Sylhet Parbatipur bus stand at 5.30 AM. Almost 5.30 hours. It increase minimum 1 hour if you starts morning to evening due to Jam.
The Last stoppage of all Buses is "Kodomtoli Bus Terminal" except Green Line. Green Line ends at "Humayun Rashid Chottor". Take a look at map it will help you. So if you are Green Line passenger, then you need to come extra few roads by yourself.
By Train: Train service also good. You can buy ticket from Komlapur Rail Station or Kakoli Rail Station or Airport Railway station. Once I went by train. Ticket bought from Kakoli. Non AC 295 taka and AC 500 taka. Train start 7.15 AM from Airport railway station. Reached Sylhet at 3.30 PM. Rail Station at Syhet is near "Kodomtoli Bus Terminal"

There are many places to visit in Sylhet.Day-1:
Shrine of Hajrat Shah Poran
Shah Paran, one of the main companions of Islam campaigner Shah Jalal, who came to Bangladesh from the Middle East In 1303.How to go: About 6.5 Kilo from Subhani Ghat towards Jaflong road. So from Subhani Ghat bus stand you can go by bus.
Khadimnagar National Park
How to go: Just after the Shah Poran ShrineJakariya City
Holiday ResortThe resort was inaugurated on April 29, 2004, in the 17 acres hill area. The red ceramic brick palace is built on the Tila. Which is known as Madhumtali and Camellia Lodge. Sports Complex, Tennis Court, Lawn Tenny Court, gymnasium and auditorium in this resort. Olympic size swimming pool inside the sports complex.

How to go: From Subhani Ghat towards Jaflong road go to 11 Km at Khadim Nogor. After Shah Poran Shrine.
Sari-river / Sari-Ghat
After breakfast, we went to Subhani Ghat Mor at 8 AM and found local bus from Subhani ghat to Jaflong via Shari Ghat. Subhani Ghat to Jaflong bus fair 60 Taka and Subhani Ghat to Shari Ghat 40 Taka. It will take about 1-1.5 hour(s) to reach at Sari Ghat. After crossing this bridge you will see a majaar in the middle of the road. This is the mor where straight goes to Juflong and right turn will take you to Lala Khal.
Lala Khal
My opinion, the best natural place is Lala khal. This wide canal is a common tourist destination as the water here appears in different colors at different points. You have to go Sari Ghat and then there are two ways to go Lalaghat.Option-1: Before cross the bridge where bus stop, just right side of the road you can see the boats are waiting for passanger. It will take much money. If passenger available no need to hire privately. Boat journey will be the most attractive i think but time consuming.
Option-2: After cross the bridge you can hire a battery auto-ricksha for 100 taka one way private what we did or with other passenger it will take only 20 taka per person. If you are 2 male, then go with others. It will save your money.
There is a nice restaurant named Nazimghar restaurant. Too much price but you can enjoy for couple of hours smoothly or after visiting Lala Khal you can take your lunch.
Same way you have to come back to main road. By a bus direct go to Jaflong. On way near Jaflong you will see Jointahill Resort on the right of the road
Dibir Haor
WetlandHow to go: go to Jaintapur Bazar. Then walk to BGB Camp. Besides the camp walk 1Km to this Haor.
Jointahil Resort
Nice and Comfortable Guest House But Expensive. You can stay a night or you can visit. We stayed here one nightTamabil
Tamabil is the border area with India and is 5 km before Jaflong. If you intend to visit Shilong of India then you will have to cross this border by completing your customs formalities. To go to India you require valid Visa. Otherwise don’t go there. It’s too much dusty area. My hair became white within 5 minutes. Nothing to see there.Jaflong
Jaflong is one of the most attractive tourist spots in Sylhet district. It's about 60 km far from Sylhet town and takes two hours drive to reach there. If you go by bus then bus will drop you few meters away from spot. Then you have to take rickshaw. It will cost 20 taka.Once you reach there, many boatman will try to misguide you to ride on the boat and boat will take to zero point, orange garden many things and will take too much money where you can go by walk. So my opinion, go by walk to the zero point where you can see the hanging bridge and nice place.
Now you can Hire a boat to cross the lake to go Khashia polli. It will take 10 taka for each person.
Khashia polli
You can see the lifestyle of Tribe Khashia in Jaflong. You can see tea garden in there, khashia houses, raajbaari. So you have to hire a engine rickshaw will demand much money. You have to bargain. We found one for 200 taka. Here also you can see nazimghar restaurant. But it closes before 5 PM. So we found it closed.Songrampunji Waterfall
Also known as Sengrampunji or Mayabi Waterfall.Back from Khasia polli we walked few meters over sand then reached at a boat and crossed the lake. Then you need to hire a ricksha for 20 Taka to the bus stand mor and return by bus or you can stay at Jointahil Resort. Just 5 kim away from Jaflong along the road to sylhet.
Day-2:
Ratargul Swamp Forest
Small area looks like a forest in the river. You can take a boat journey into this small forest. How to go: The easiest way to go at Ratargul is 1st go to Aambor Khana from your hotel. There you will see available CNG at the corner of the road goes to airport. Ask someone many CNG goes to Shaheb Bari Bazar. Fare per person 30 Taka. CNG Auto carries 5 persons.
From Shaheb Bari Bazar, you will find another CNG goes to Motor Ghat. Carries 5 persons and fare 15 Taka per person. From Motor Ghat, Few meters distance you have to walk to River Ghat from where you have to hire reserve boat to visit in that forest.
There you have to play a little trick to hire a boat. If couple goes to there, boatman may demands even 1000 Taka. So let your female friends stay at the shop at Motor Ghat then you hire a boat. Fare not more than 400 Taka.
Go and enjoy the forest. Don't go in the winter.
Another important thing is, on the way from Aambor Khana to Motor Ghaat, road sometimes too rough, not carpeting road. It will give you a roller coaster flavor. So be ready for that.
