Barguna is a district in Barishal division of Bangladesh.
Barguna is bounded by Jhalokathi, Barishal, Pirojpur and Patuakhali on the north. Patuakhali district on the east. Patuakhali district, and the Bay of Bengal on the south. Pirojpur and Bagerhat districts on the west.

Bibichini Mosque
Historical ArchitectureIt is known that in 1659, Hazrat Shah Neyamot Ullah (R) came to this region to spread Islam and build this Bibichini mosque. Bibichini mosque has been named after his daughter, Chinibibi and Isabibi. It is also known that during the reign of Emperor Aurangazeb, in 1700, Hazrat Shah Niramat Ullah (R) passed away and buried on the side of the mosque.
How to go: From Barguna town go to Betabi Sub-district. From there go to 10 Km away Bibichini Union.
