Habiganj formerly known as Habibganj, which was named after its founder Syed Habib Ullah, is a district of Sylhet Division in Bangladesh.

Habiganj is bounded by Sunamganj District to the north, Tripura state of India and Maulvibazar District to the east, Sylhet to the north-east, Brahmanbaria and Kishoreganj districts to the west.

Sankar Pasha Shahi Mosque


One of the beautiful architecture of the fifteenth century. It is known from the inscription that the mosque was completed in 1513. Majlis Amin, the administrative officer of Sultan Alauddin Hossain Shah, was constructed thid mosque.
How to go: It's in Uchail, Habiganj Sadar.


Shatchhori National Park


The Park built on 243 Hactre of lands in 2005. Previous name was "Roghunondon Hill Reserved Forest". You can see tea garden inside the Park. There is a vilaage inside the park name "Tiprapara". 24 tribal families are living there.
How to go: From Dhaka or any district, come to Muktijoddha chottor, Shayestaganj. From there go to 12 Km away Chunarughat by CNG. From here go to this park by auto.
