Fort Banks

How to go: It is located about 2.5 km from the south end of Revere Beach towards south at 101 Kennedy Dr in Winthrop.


Winthrop Beach

The ocean has five wave breakers known as the "Five Sisters" to protect nearby neighborhoods during storms.
How to go: It is located about 620 meters from Fort Banks towards east.


Lewis Lake

How to go: It is located about 230 meters from Winthrop Beach near Five Sisters in Winthrop.

Snake Island

Island

Uninhabited island is named for its serpentine shape.
How to go: Only by private boat. It is located in Winthrop city.


Yirrell Beach

How to go: It is located south side of Winthrop Beach.
