Brahmanbaria is a district in Chattagram Division in Bangladesh.

Brahmanbaria district is bounded by Kishoreganj and Habiganj districts on the north, Cumilla district on the south, Habiganj district and Tripura state of India on the east. Kishoreganj, Narsingdi and Narayanganj districts on the west.

Brahmanbaria district is divided into nine Sub-districts (Brahmanbaria Sadar, Ashuganj, Nasirnagar, Nabinagar, Sarail, Kasba, Akhaura, Bancharampur, Bijoynagar).

Hindu Temple

More than 300 years ago, a Shiv statue was found when digging a pond in the village. Shiv Temple was established there for this statue.

It's in Nabinagar Sub district. From there go by launch to MP Tila at Dhoravanga village.

Kella Shahid Mazar

Shrine

Hazrat Saiyed Ahammad Gesudaraj (R) Shrine. The story about the shrine is that, At that time the fishermen of Kharampur caught fish in Titas river. One day, Fishermen suddenly caught a fragmented head in their fishing net. Fragmented head start to talk. According to the instructions of the head, the head, it was buried in the Kharampur graveyard according to the Islamic way. Here a shrine was founded on 260 acres of land, The king of Agartala was then donated the land.
Different historians assume that, Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) came to Sylhet with 360 disciples, Hazrat Saiyed Ahammad Gesudaraj one of them. Hazrat Shahjalal's chief commander, Hazrat Syed Nasiruddin, who fought with King Achok Narayan, Raj was martyred in that war and his head was floored on the banks of the Titas river.
How to go: Go to Akhaura Subdistrict. From there go to Khorompur village.


Kollapathro Cemetery

During the War of Liberation, the heroes, who fought in the border areas, collected the 51 dead bodies of the freedom fighters were buried at the top of the hill by Mr. A Mannan with the help of local people.
How to go: It is in Kosba Sub-district. From Kosba 10 Km away Kollapathor village in Bayek union, near India Border.


Lokkhipur Cemetery

During the War of Liberation, the heroes, who fought in this areas, collected the 12 dead bodies of the freedom fighters were buried at the top of the hill.
