How to Reach Taipei
Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (IATA Code-TPE) is an international airport is located about 40 km west of Taipei in Taoyuan City.I always use the following app to buy air tickets. The shuttle bus is the cheapest option. Bus no 1960, heading towards the Xinyi District. Ticket cost NTD 145 ($4.85) and the bus runs from 6.05 AM to 1.05 AM. Bus no. 1819 runs 24 hours and ticket cost NTD 125 ($4.18). Bus no. 1961 runs until 1 AM and ticket cost NTD 90 ($3.01).

Yangmingshan National Park
ParkYangmingshan is one of Taiwan’s eight national parks, occupying 11,455 hectares of land. It is the part of Shilin and Beitou districts of Taipei City and Tamsui, Sanzhi, Shimen, Jinshan, and Wanli districts of New Taipei City.
How to go: From MRT 2 Jiantan station, leave Exit 1 (Shilin Night Market), and walk to the left-side bus station. Take either city bus R5 or small bus S15 or S17 to Yangmingshan station. Fare is 15 NTD ($0.5). Bus 260 also leaves from Taipei Main Station to Jiantan. Bus S15 from Jiantan.

Hiking AreaThere is a Lengshuikeng Visitor Center. 1.6 km Lengshuikeng-Qingtiangang trail through lush green field. There is a Suspension Bridge on the way of the trail.

Jinbaoli Trail
HikingQingtiangang to Shanghuangxi Parking trail is another hiking path. Once upon a time this was the main route between Shilin and Jinshan districts, when there were no highway.
The trail start from Qingtiangang through Jinbaoli Gate, via Hanbingcuodi, Xuyan Bridge.
How to go: From Shanghuang Creek parking lot, you can take bus and back to Taipei or Jinshan.

There is a Outdoor obervatory Deck on its 101st Floor, 91st floor and Indoor Observatory Deck on its 88th and 89th floor. Observatory Restaurant on its 85th to 89th floor. Mall is located on Basement-1 to 5th floor.

Beimen Post Office
Post OfficeOne-storey wooden building post office, construction began in 1889 and ended in 1892 during the Japanese Colonial Period. It was burnt in a fire in 1913. A temporary wooden structure was built in the same year. The new building today was constructed in April 1930.

How to go: It is located southwest side of 2/28 Peace Park.
Liberty Square
SquareAlso known as Freedom Square. The square is bounded by the National Concert Hall on the north, the National Theater on the south and National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall at its east end.
How to go: It is about 800 meters from Presidential Office Building towards east.

National Theater and Concert Hall: It was Constructed in 1987 at Liberty Square.
National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall: The memorial hall was built in 1976 in the memory of Chiang Kai-shek, the first president of the Republic of China.
