Qasr Al Hosn

Historic Building

It was built in 1761 as a conical watchtower. It was expanded into a small fort in 1793 by Shakhbut bin Dhiyab Al Nahyan. Since then, It became the permanent residence of ruling Sheikh. It was again extended in 1930s as its present structure. It is now partially open to the public as a museum exhibits artifacts and weapons.

Visiting Time: Saturday to Thursday - 10 AM to 9 PM. Friday - 2 PM to 10 PM.

Entry Fee: 30 Dirham ($8.17) includes Qasr Al Hosn and Artisans house.

How to go: It is located about 300 meters from the Landmark towards southeast.

World Trade Center

Complex

2 skyscrapers are located at this complex. One is Burj Mohammed bin Rashid, which is the 382 meters with 92 floors residential building. It is the tallest in Abu Dhabi. Another is Trust tower, which is 278 meters with 60 floors official building. There is a small building called Hotel Tower in the complex, which is 65 meters with 16 floors hotel space.

How to go: It is located north side of Qasr Al Hosn.
