How to Reach Patan

By Air: Nearest airport of Patan is Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad.
Buy a cheapest air-ticket from below site. This is my favorite site because it shows the different airline ticket prices of the same flight. So it makes easy for me to buy the lowest price ticket.
Type your travel city name "Ahmedabad" in Destination box. Select your depart and return date. If one-way, click on the 'X' in the return date box. Click on search.


Udaipur to Patna: By train from Udaipur, it takes about 5.30 hours and fare 640 for sleeper.

Rani ki Vav

Step well

It is a UNESCO's World Heritage Site. It is said that it was built in the memory of Bhima I (Bhima I was a Chaulukya king) by his queen Udayamati in 1063.
Visiting Time: 8.30 AM to 7 PM.
Entry Fee: Rs.15 for Indian and Rs.200 for foreigner.
How to go: It is situated at Mohan Nagar Society.

Patan City Museum

Museum

Patan museum was established in 2010. It displays the cultural heritage of Patan.
Visiting Time: 10 AM to 6 PM
Entry Fee: Rs.5 for Indian and Rs.50 for foreigner.
How to go: It is situated at Rani Ki Vav Road, Opposite of New Kalika Mandir. 700 meters walking distance from Rani ki Vav.

Patan Patola Heritage

Fabric manufacturer

This house owned by the Salvi family is the original Patola makers. They will explain the processes of making Patola saree. A double Tikat saree costs about USD 3000.
Visiting Time: 10 AM to 6 PM
Entry Fee: Rs.10.
How to go: Just besides Patan City Museum.

How to go: It is situated near Sheth B M Primary School at Chidiya Darwaja. 1.8 km from Rail Station.
