How to go: It is not in Seoul. It is located at Gwangmyeong city in Gyeonggi Province. Border city of Seoul. Go to Cheolsan Station (line 7, exit 2). Walk forward, cross the road (ori-ro) to take Bus No. 17 and get off at Gwangmyeong Cave Bus Stop (last stop, near Parking Lot 1). It takes about 45 minutes.
Attractions: In-cave attractions include Wormhole Square (light theme experiences in cave), Cave Underground World, Cave Underground Lake, Golden Road, Modern History Museum, Aqua Cave World on fishes, 194 meters long Wine Cave where 170 types of wine from around South Korea are sold. Wine tasting is conducted every Saturday and Sunday at 12 PM to 4 PM.

Everland
Amusement parkEverland is South Korea's largest theme park. It receives 585 million visitors annually and was ranked 19th in the world for amusement park attendance in 2018. Everland includes a zoo and water park known as Caribbean Bay.
Visiting Time: Sunday to Thursday - 10 AM to 8 PM. Friday and Saturday - 10 AM to 9 PM.

Shopping MallIt has an area of about 154,000 square metres, of which 144,000 are on a single underground floor, making it the world's largest underground shopping mall.
How to go: The Coex Mall is located at Gangnam-gu Yeongdong-daero 513. This mall is connected the Samseong Station on Seoul Metro Line 2 and Bongeunsa Station on Seoul Metro Line 9. Chungdahm Station Line 7 is next to COEX Mall.

Burial Ground"Seonjeongneung" word is taken from the name Seolleung and Jeongneung. It is the royal tombs of King Seongjong (the 9th king of the Joseon Dynasty), Queen Jeonghyeon (wife of King Seongjong) and King Jungjong. Seonjeongneung is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Visiting Time: March to October - 6 AM to 9 PM, November to January - 6.30 AM 7.30 PM. Last entry before 1 hour of closing. It opens from Tuesday to Sunday. Monday remains close.

Sinsa-dong Garosu-gil
StreetPopular . The street is also known as ‘artists' street’. There are many cafes, restaurants, stores are located at this road. Specially more popular duing autumn when the golden ginkgo leaves begin to fall.
How to go: Walk from Sinsa Station towards north to Hyeondae High School. Sinsa Station is about 2.5 km from Seonjeongneung towards northwest.
Apgujeong-dong
AreaApgujeong-dong is a ward of Gangnam-gu in Seoul. It is considered as one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in South Korea.
In Apgujeong-dong area, Apgujeong Rodeo Street is the most popular road, filled with luxury brand, clothing, shoe and accessory stores.
Other places in this area are Cheongdam-dong Street, K-Star Road, Dongho Bridge etc.

War Memorial of Korea

Sungnyemun Gate
Historical PlaceSungnyemun Gate Construction began in 1395 and completed in 1398 with city wall. It used to greet foreign emissaries and control access to the capital city. It was made of wood and stone with a two-tiered, pagoda-shaped. In February 10, 2008, Sungnyemun was destroyed by fire. After a 5-year reconstruction work, it restored.

N Seoul Tower

The N Seoul Tower is divided into three sections, including the N Lobby, N Plaza, and the N Tower.
Love Padlocks: Situated on the 2nd floor of the N Plaza. The "Locks of Love" is a popular location for people to hang locks that symbolize eternal love.
Wishing Pond: Is is situated on the 2nd floor of the tower, where people throw coins into the pond wishing. The coins are collected and donated to help in underdeveloped areas.
3rd Floor Observatory: The observatory offers the 360° view and also exhibits 600 years of Korean history through 36 LCD screens.
N Grill: A French restaurant situated at 5th floor.
Alive Museum: Visiting Time - 10 AM to 10 PM every day. It is located Plaza B1 floor. Entry Fee: 13000 Won ($10.51) for adult and 10000 Won ($8.09) for child. Myeong-dong
AreaMyeong-dong is one of the shopping districts in Seoul, a tourist hotspot.
How to go: The subway to Myeong-dong Station (Line 4) and use Exit 6 to get to street level.
* From Myeong-dong station start walking towards west. Till you see Shinsegae Department Store. A wide variety of luxury brands, an art gallery, and Trinity Garden for all visitors. Then walk towards north till you reach at Bank Of Korea Money Museum.

Deoksugung
PalaceDeoksugung is also known as Gyeongun-gung, Deoksugung Palace or Deoksu Palace.
Deoksugung was the residence of Prince Wolsan (1454-1488), the older brother of King Seongjong. It is one of the "Five Grand Palaces" built by the kings of the Joseon Dynasty. This residence became a Royal Palace after all of the other palaces were burned in 1592. King Gwanghaegun was crowned in this palace in 1608, and renamed it Gyeongun-gung in 1611. After the official palace was moved in 1618, it was used as an auxiliary palace for 270 years and was renamed Seogung (West Palace). The palace was later renamed Deoksugung.

Gyeongbokgung
PalaceGyeongbokgung is also known as Gyeongbokgung Palace or Gyeongbok Palace. It was the main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty. Gyeongbokgung was originally constructed in 1394 by King Taejo, the first king and the founder of the Joseon dynasty.
Visiting Time: 9 AM to 6 PM. Tuesday remains closed.
Entry Fee: 3000 Won ($2.43) for adult and 1500 Won ($1.21) for child.
How to go: About 700 meters from Gyeonghuigung Palace towards east through Gwanghwamun Plaza, an open space.
Inside the Premises:
Gates of Gyeongbokgung: Gwanghwamun (Main and South Gate), Heungnyemun (Second Inner Gate), Geunjeongmun (Third Inner Gate), Sinmumun (North Gate), Geonchunmun (The East Gate), Yeongchumun (The West Gate),
Geunjeongjeon: Geunjeongjeon is the throne hall where the king formally granted audiences to his officials.
Sajeongjeon: A building used as the main executive office by the king during the Joseon Dynasty.
Sujeongjeon: Another Sujeongjeon building located to the south of Gyeonghoeru, was constructed in 1867 and used by the cabinet of the Joseon dynasty.
Cheonchujeon: Outer Court.
Manchunjeon: Outer Court.
Gangnyeongjeon: King's main residing quarters. First constructed in 1395. Gangnyeongjeon consists of corridors and fourteen rectangular chambers, each seven chambers located to the left and right side.
Hyangwonjeong: A small two-story pavilion built around 1873 by the order of King Gojong.
Gyeonghoeru: The first Gyeonghoeru was constructed in 1412. This Pavilion or hall used to hold important and special state banquets during the Joseon Dynasty.
Gyotaejeon: It was first constructed in around 1440. This building was used as the main residing quarters by the queen during the Joseon Dynasty.
Jagyeongjeon: First constructed in 1865. It was used as the main residing quarters by Queen Sinjeong and the mother of King Heonjong.
Jaseondang: The Crown Prince's and Princesses' Quarters.
Bihyeongak: The Study of the Crown Prince.
Jibokjae: A two-storey private library used by King Gojong. In 1876.
Taewonjeon: Also called Taewonjeon Shrine, is an ancestral shrine originally built in 1868 to house a portrait of King Taejo.
Donggung: It is located south of the Hyangwonjeong pavilion, were the living quarters for the crown prince and his wife.
Geoncheonggung: Geoncheonggung Residence was a private royal residence built by King Gojong within the palace grounds in 1873.
Yeongjegyo Bridge: Having passed through the main gate (Gwanghwamun) and secondary gate (Heungnyemun), you have to pass over this small bridge.
Chwihyanggyo Bridge: Chwihyanggyo was originally located on the north side of the island and was the longest bridge constructed purely of wood during the Joseon Dynasty. It was destroyed and reconstructed in its present form on the south side of the island in 1953.

Tongin Market
Street Food ShopsTongin Market consists of about 75 stores. Most of are restaurants and grocery stores. One unique thing here is that you have to exchange 5000 Won ($4.06) for few old coins and lunch box. You have to pay coins to buy foods and keep in your lunchbox. Most of the food item cost is 2 coins and there is a huge variety of different foods. After buying you lunch as per you need, go to a seating area in the middle of the market, just above where you buy the lunchbox.
Visiting Time: Lunchbox and coin exchange is open from 11 AM to 4 PM. Market open from 7 AM to 9 PM.

How to go: It is about 500 meters from the west gate (Yeongchumun) of Gyeongbokgung Palace. It is located at 18 Jahamun-ro 15-gil, Tongin-dong, Jongno-gu.
Blue House
Residence of Korean PresidentCheong Wa Dae (or Blue House) is the official residence of the President of South Korea. The main building consists of the President's office, a meeting room and other buildings. It is known as the 'Blue House' for its blue-tiled roof.
You can visit inside by Online Apply (english1.president.go.kr. Or arrive 30 minutes before the start of the tour at the Cheong Wa Dae Tour Information Booth, located on the right of the Gyeongbokgung Palace main gate (Gwanghwamun) parking lot With your passport. After the passport checks, the group will board the shuttle bus to Cheong Wa Dae. Upon arrival, there will be a brief security check followed by a short introductory video. The actual tour will cover Nokjiwon Garden, the old building grounds, the Main Building and Yeongbin-gwan (the State Guest House). Photographs may take at designated locations and video recording is strictly prohibited. After the tour, shuttle bus are available at the Rose of Sharon Garden to take you back to the same place or you can visit anywhere else.
Visiting Time: Tours available on Tuesday-Friday and 2nd/4th Saturdays of the month at 10 AM, 11 AM, 2 PM and 3 PM.

Myeongjeongjeon: Main hall was first built in 1484. The king used this for meetings with officials and royal banquets.
Munjeongjeon: The council hall, where the king dealt with routine state affairs.
Sungmundang: A hall, where the king threw banquets to discuss state affairs and classical literature. The name of the building "Sungmundang" written by King Yeongjo still hangs at the entrance.
Haminjeong: Pavilion first built in 1633. The king used this pavilion to receive officials and hold banquets.
Gyeongchunjeon: Hall first built in 1483. King Jeongjo and King Heonjong were born here.
Hwangyeongjeon: Hall first built in 1484.
Tongmyeongjeon: Hall first built in 1484. It is the main building in the Yeonjo area where kings and their families lived.
Chundangji: Two ponds constructed in 1909.

Bosingak
Historical PlaceIt was originally constructed in 1396 by the Joseon Dynasty. The bell was used to announce the opening and closing of the four gates around Seoul and fire alarm. At 4 am and 10 pm the bell was struck 33 times and gates were opened and closed. Now, the bell is rung only at midnight on New Year's Eve.
