When the Mughal commander Raja Mansingh attacked Vikrampur, his fellow warriors defeated by King Kedar Rai and took shelter in Srinagar. Mansingh sent his soldiers to rescue them. As a result, the Great War was organized. Kedar Rai got injured in this battle and died. Mansing changed the name of Srinagar to Fatejangpur as a win marks.
