Gurnet Light

The original lighthouse was built in 1768. The light is the oldest wooden lighthouse in the United States. It was burned down and rebuilt in 1801. The light was relocated approximately 140 feet to the north in December 1998.

Saquish Head

It is located at the end of the peninsula at the entrance to Plymouth Bay.
How to go: It is located west side of Gurnet Point.


Duxbury Pier Lighthouse

King Caesar House

House

Ezra Weston I (1743–1822) established the firm in 1764. Ezra I earned the nickname "King Caesar". After his death, the nickname passed to his son Ezra Weston II (1772–1842). The house was built in 1809.
How to go: It is located 1.3 km from the west side of Powder Point bridge, which is located west side of Duxbury Beach.

Alden House Historic Site

The house was built by John Alden and Priscilla Alden around 1630 as the second home. The land is now owned by the Town of Duxbury, and is principally occupied by the Duxbury Junior High School.

Myles Standish Monument State

116 feet monument was built in 1898. There is a statue of military leader, Captain Myles Standish on the top of the monument.
Visiting Time: Saturday to Sunday - 9:30 AM to 5 PM.
How to go: It is located about 4 km from Mill Pond towards southeast and about 3 km from Duxbury Rural & Historical Society towards south at Crescent Street.
