Faridpur is a district in Dhaka Division of Bangladesh.

Faridpur is bounded by Rajbari and Manikganj districts on the north, Gopalganj district on the south, Dhaka, Munshiganj and Madaripur districts on the east, Narail and Magura districts on the west.

Faridpur district is divided into 9 upazila or sub-district (Alfadanga, Bhanga, Boalmari,, Charbhadrasan, Faridpur Sadar, Madhukhali, Nagarkanda, Sadarpur, Saltha).
