Narail is a district in Khulna Division of Bangladesh.

Narail is bounded by Magura district on the north, Khulna and Bagerhat districts on the south, Faridpur and Gopalganj districts on the east, Jashore district on the west.

Narail is divided into 3 Upazilla or Sub-District (Narail Sadar, Kalia, Lohagora).

How to Reach Narail

By Air: Nearest airport from Narail is Jessore airport. About 35 km away.

Type your destination "Jessore" and select it from drop down menu. Enter your Depart date and Return date. If one-way then cross the Return date. If more than 1 passenger, enter. If you want business class click on "Business class" and click on search.



From Jashore, You have to go to Naogaon by bus.

From Khulna: If you want to go from Khulna, direct bus will go via Jessore from Sonadanga Bus Stand. But There is another way you can go shortcut. You have to go to BegerDanga ( বেজেরডাংগা ) bus stop, Fultola from Shib bari Mor by bus (Fare: 25 Taka) or by CNG (Fare: 40 Taka/person). It will take 50 minutes. From there you have to go to Vaatpara Ferry Ghat by Battery Auto. It will take 15 minutes and fare 8 TK. Now you have to pay 2 Taka for crossing river on Ghaat. then cross the river and by Van you have to go Shingari Bazar (সিংগারী বাজার). It will take 15 minutes and fare 5 Taka. There you will get bus for Narail. It will take 1 hour and fare 35 Taka.

S M Sultan Memorial

Sheikh Mohammed Sultan ( এস এম সুলতান ), was a Bengali avant-garde artist who worked in painting and drawing. You can see his Painting and Drawing in this place.

Baadha Ghaat (বাধা ঘাট)

Badha Ghat (বাধা ঘাট) or Rajbari Ghat (রাজবাড়ী ঘাট) is near to the Victoria college of Narail (নড়াইল) town., is situated beside the beautiful river Chitra ( চিত্রা ). This is now just a place where you can spend times with friends.
How to go: It is walking distance (700 meters) from Bus stand  via Rupgonj Bazar ( রুপগন্জ বাজার ).

Chitra Resort

Chitra Resort is situated on the bank of Chitra River. Nice place to spend times. you can go by battery auto from Old Bus Stand to Chitra Resort Ghaat. Then you have to call them (Cell: 01973063610). Their speed boat will take you to the resort. Entry Fee for park is 30 Taka.
You can also stay in their Resort. Nice accommodation, Fare Non AC - 1200 Taka and AC - 2000 Taka per night
They have also Cafe. So what you want to take for breakfast, lunch and dinner, just inform them. They will arrange food also.
Another most interesting part is, they have two types of boat. You can enjoy Chitra river even at night. Fare for small boat is 300 Taka per hour. 8-10 people can easily ride on that. Big boat cost 1st hour 600 Taka and from 2nd hour 500 Taka. This boat capacity is 30 person. You also can visit SM Sultan complex and Baadha ghaat with this boat.

Niribili Picnic Spot

This is a picnic Spot at Lohagora Upazila (Sub-District).
How to go: You can go there from Lohagora Ferry Ghat bridge at Narail by bus to Rampura Bus stand. From there it is walking distance or you can go by Battery Auto.

Nur Mohammad Complex

Memorial Complex

Nur Mohammad Sheikh, the best national hero of the country. In the war of independence, the Bangladesh government awarded martyr Nur Mohammad Sheikh a 'Bir Shreshtha' title for his bravery, valor and love of the country. The government of Bangladesh has established a trust, library and memorial museum to protect her great memory.
Visiting Time: 9AM to 5PM. Remain Close on Govt. Holiday. It is easy to go from Niribili Picnic Spot.

Father House of Nihar Ranjan Gupto

Ruined Old House

Dr. Nihar Ranjan Gupto was a prominent literary writer. He was a popular mystery story writer and physician. He is remembered in the subcontinent as the creator of the famous detective character Kiriti Ray.
How to go: From Lohagora Sub district go to the village Itna about 10Km from Lohagora.
