Visiting Time: Monday to Friday - 9 AM to 5 PM. Saturday and Sunday remains closed.
How to go: It is located about 200 meters from Hall's Pond Sanctuary towards southwest at 187 Beacon Street.


Winthrop Square

The park contains picnic tables, playgrounds and a rose garden.
Visiting Time: 7 AM to 10 PM every day.
How to go: It is located about 380 meters from Temple Ohabei Shalom towards northwest at the St Paul Street and Freeman Street.


John Fitzgerald Kennedy National

Historic Site

It is the birthplace and childhood home of John F. Kennedy, the 35th president of the United States. The house was purchased by Joseph Patrick Kennedy on 20 August 1914. John and his sisters Rosemary and Kathleen were born in the upstairs. The family lived there until 1920 then moved to another house at few blocks away. Kennedy family sold the house and repurchased in 1966.
Rose Kennedy (mother of John F. Kennedy) donated the home to the National Park Service in 1967 as a memorial to her son.
How to go: The house is located about 650 meters from Winthrop Square towards west at 83 Beals Street in the Coolidge Corner neighborhood of Brookline.

Visiting Time: Thursday - 1:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
How to go: It is located about 600 meters from John Fitzgerald Kennedy National towards south at Parking Lot, Centre Street West.


Dutch House

Historic Building

The building was built in 1893 in Chicago as an exhibition hall at the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago. The building design is similar to the Franeker City Hall in Franeker, Netherlands.
After the fair ended, the building was purchased by Brookline resident Charles Brooks Appleton. The building was dismantled brick by brick and reconstructed at its present location.
How to go: It is located about 1.3 km from Brookline Farmers' Market towards southeast at 20 Netherlands Road.

Visiting Time: Tuesday to Friday - 11 AM to 4 PM. Saturday - 12 AM to 4 PM. Sunday remains closed.

Emerson Garden

How to go: It is located about 320 meters from Gateway Arts towards southwest at 82 Davis Avenue.

Frederick Law Olmsted National

Historic Site

Frederick Law Olmsted (April 26, 1822 – August 28, 1903) was an American landscape architect. He moved his home to here in 1883. He established an office "fairsted" for practice of landscape design. This is the world's first of it's kind.
Visiting Time: Fairsted landscape Guided tour - Friday and Saturday - 10 AM to 3 PM. Historic Design Office Guided tours - 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM. Open House Self tour - 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
How to go: It is located about 1.4 km from Emerson Garden towards southwest at 99 Warren Street.


Brookline Reservoir Park

How to go: It is located west side of Frederick Law Olmsted National.


Larz Anderson Park

How to go: It is located about 1.4 km from Frederick Law Olmsted National towards south at Goddard Avenue and Newton Street.

Larz Anderson Auto Museum

It exhibits the oldest collection of motorcars in the United States.
Visiting Time: Tuesday to Friday - 10 AM to 3 PM. Saturday to Sunday - 10 AM to 4 PM. Monday remains closed.
Entry Fee: 12 Dollar for adult. 7 Dollar for senior, child age 6-12. Free for child age below 6.
How to go: It is located about 200 meters from Larz Anderson Park toward south at 15 Newton Street.
